Friday Funday – Christmas Minis

As the song goes, Christmas time’s a comin’, Christmas time’s a comin’, and the big day is only about a week away.

Whether you plan to celebrate the holiday at home, with family and loved ones, on the road, or perhaps through a special tradition of visiting a special place, no matter what your traditions are, no celebration is ever too big or too small. Only that it’s special.

Every year, we enjoy helping others make their traditions and celebrations merry and bright with our beautiful wreaths, garlands and other decor, but we also know that the greenery we provide to designers, wholesalers, flower markets and floral shops around the world at Christmas, such as Magnolia leaves and fresh Florida evergreens, goes into helping others make holiday magic through special floral designs.

Christmas floral designs can never be too big or too small, either, and they are the perfect way to bring a touch of holiday cheer to any celebration or gathering.

Want big and extravagant? No problem! Perhaps you are on a budget, or are looking for an inexpensive gift idea? Small designs can be just as beautiful.

Don’t believe us? Check out four of our favorite Christmas mini designs, featuring festive holiday flowers and fresh winter greenery, from this season below in this week’s #FridayFunday —  and surely you’ll change your mind. 🎄

Red and green together might be the colors of Christmas, but who says they can’t look beautiful on their own?

Look at all that green! Arranged by Scent & Violet, a flower and gift shop in Texas, the mini Carnations, Roses and Orchids, surrounded by traditional evergreens plus some fresh Leyland Cypress, Carolina Sapphire and Gold Tip Cedar come together to make a beautiful centerpiece.

Between all the greenery and those green and white blooms, it would make a stunning addition to any size table. Isn’t it grand?!

Is the container the best part of a design? Nah, but sometimes, the container can make a special design even better, like these festive selections!

We love each one of these containers, but we love the flowers and greens within them even more, from Lynette and Sarah of Flowers by Sarahlynne, an Indiana floral design studio, who are using small festive containers to make their flowers and blooms POP.

Vibrant Carnations, Daisies and Alstroemerias look outstanding amongst the traditional pine, and fresh Florida evergreens, including Green Leyland, Variegated Leyland and Carolina Sapphire in their Santa, Christmas tree and snowy landscape inspired containers.

Small, but beautiful.

“Gnome” for the holidays? How about this one!

Our little guy here looks like he loves his mini Carnations and festive evergreens, including traditional spruce, plus fresh Leyland Cypress and Gold Tip Cedar, perfectly festive and fun.

These little creatures are popping up everywhere this season, and it’s easy to see why when they are fun for the holidays! This little guy – and probably a few of his friends, too – can be found at Atkinson Floral, a flower shop in Nebraska.

These designs are “sleighing” the holiday season — take a look above and you’ll see why.

What more could you need than festive containers and festive greens! These small sleighs, with festive greens and décor, such as Leyland Cypress and Gold Tip Cedar with some traditional evergreens, too, are a perfect festive addition for the holidays.

Offered and arranged by Marcho’s Florist and Greenhouses of Pennsylvania, who we know loves Christmas just as much as us!
