Hippity hop, Easter is almost here!
Spring is always full of fun times to celebrate, and Easter is no egg-ception. Whether you’re gearing up for church events, the big egg hunt out in the yard with family, a special brunch or dinner, or time to rejoice in rejuvenation and faith, there’s plenty of fun and festivities planned all around for the holiday.
Of course, when there’s a celebration, there’s often flowers, and Easter is no egg-ception here, either. Here at Albin’s, we love our greenery, but of course, we love the flowers, too!
With all of the special Easter Lilies that appear as potted plants, and as cut flowers within special designs, plus the abundance of everyday spring flowers, such as Daisies, Proteas, Chrysanthemums and the many wildflowers and natural-style blooms that are popular in designs today out in full force, it’s hard to miss them.
At Easter, and for days and weeks afterwards, they’re pretty special, and serve as a reminder of what Easter is all about, and whichever traditions and beliefs are meaningful to you and your family within all of the fun and festivities.
As we welcome in the Easter weekend, join us in admiring a few of our favorite Easter designs that we have seen so far, in this week’s edition of #FridayFunday! 🐰
One of the most popular Easter traditions is always the Easter basket, filled with candies, toys, trinkets and special Easter wishes.
Though, what could make an Easter basket better? Flowers, of course! Here’s one that is truly special, shared with us by Bee’s Blossoms, a flower shop in California, filled with an assortment of beautiful blooms and a fresh chocolate bunny!
Fresh Roses, Mini Carnations, Mini Chrysanthemums, Goldenrod and filler flowers rest atop fresh Leatherleaf in this basket. What more could you want in yours?
Prefer a little something other than a basket for Easter? No problem, how about a vase? Here’s one that is PERFECT for Easter and anytime in the spring!
Designed by Ace Berry of Fulshear Floral Design, a flower shop in Texas, this geometric vase might be plain, but it’s filled over-the-top with a fresh mix of blooms and greens for Easter, including the fresh Proteas and Chrysanthemums starring in the show, surrounded by fillers and some stunning Foxtail Fern for the greenery.
Not a traditional combination, but definitely a winning combination when it comes to Easter, and hope, joy and spending time with those you love!
Special Easter brunches, lunches and dinners bring special springtime delights to the table, but don’t forget to bring some freshness to the table, too, with a special centerpiece.
From bright and colorful, to subdued and elegant, there’s no one best design to celebrate with when it comes to centerpieces, but this one, filled with plenty of green, and shared with us by Arizona Florist, a full-service flower shop in Arizona, is one of our favorites.
Both in the blooms and the greenery, there’s plenty of beautiful shades of green and white to celebrate Easter with, including white-hued Lilies, Roses and Alstroemeria, plus a green Hydrangea, with a fresh mix of greenery that includes Baby Blue Eucalyptus, Sword Fern and Salal leaves, for an enchanting Easter look.
Last but certainly not least before this Easter, the folks at In Bloom Florist here in Florida came up with a way to make an Easter centerpiece even more special — the chance to design it yourself with a special workshop!
In Bloom Florist held a special workshop earlier this week at their shop, where their designers guided attendees in designing their own special spring centerpiece, just in time for Easter.
No two designs are ever exactly 100 percent the same, but we love their design inspiration pictured here, filled with beautiful blooms, including a Peony, an assortment of Roses, bright yellow Carnations and lush Hyacinth, paired with a variety of fillers and wildflowers, plus fresh Leatherleaf Fern and Nagi to finish it off.
Freshness that would be a special addition to any table.
May your baskets be bountiful, and your blessings be plentiful this weekend. From us to you, Happy Easter to you and your family! Check back next week after the holiday weekend to see more of our favorite Easter designs. 🐣
