Friday Funday – Easter Bounties

Hippity hop, Easter is almost here!

Whether with religious traditions, an annual egg hunt, special meals or somewhere in between, no matter how you celebrate, the springtime, and Easter, are times of celebration, resurrection and rebirth across the land.

There’s no better symbol for the season — from the usual Tulips and Lilies enjoyed each year, to new trends like wildflowers and natural greenery, springtime brings bounties of blooms and flowers at Easter and beyond.

On Easter Sunday and beyond, thanks to the many florists, designers and floral enthusiasts who use the work of growers and wholesalers to create their own spring magic, with their colors, textures and beauty, Easter flowers are always special.

As Easter week wraps up, here’s a few more of our favorite Easter designs from the year! Take a look in this week’s edition of #FridayFunday below. 🐣

Whether used for decoration, or given as a gift, Easter flowers are special, and here’s a set of spectacular designs from Easter this year.

Shared with us by Polly’s Blooms, a flower shop in South Carolina, these designs were perfectly festive for Easter and beyond, both as beautiful decor and meaningful gifts.

Within them are a variety of flowers – including bright Lilies, soft Gerbera Daisies, pastel Stock, lush Roses and Hydrangea, Bells of Ireland, poms, fillers and more – plus a variety of greenery, too – including Leatherleaf, Italian Ruscus, Baby Blue Eucalyptus, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus and Seeded Eucalyptus – to give each a unique look.

Easter baskets are another special tradition, and what could be better than one filled with the beauty of flowers and greenery!?

If that’s your thing at Easter, check this one out, designed and shared by Soderberg’s Florist in Minnesota, just in time to make someone smile on the big day!

The plain basket is transformed into one of freshness and luxury with the lush pink and green colors of the blooms and greens, including Lilies, Carnations, Roses and Stock, finished off with a bounty of two of our favorites, fresh Leatherleaf and Israeli Ruscus.

Hopping on down to the next design, is that the Easter bunny we see? 👀

Sure is, and on this vase, filled with fresh blooms and greenery, he brings the perfect touch of Easter to the “Bunny Blooms” design, found at the Viviano Flower Shop in Michigan this year.

Are those the Easter bunny’s favorite flowers?

We may never know, but we can tell you that they look great with this vase featuring the Easter bunny, including colorful Daisies, Carnations, Roses and Wax Flowers, finished off with Variegated Pittosporum, just in time for Easter.

At Easter, there’s always bunnies, but baby chicks are always popular (and adorable) too.

We know not everyone is able to have fluffy barnyard friends where they live, but you could have this adorable little chickadee, and her beautiful Easter flowers and greens where you are!

Brought to us by the Ye Olde Daisy Shoppe, a flower shop in Arkansas, this chickadee’s vase is egg-citing for Easter and spring, and filled with an assortment of fresh blooms, including Daisies, Mini Carnations, Chrysanthemums, Roses and natural-inspired filler flowers, with a fresh touch of our favorite green to finish it off: Leatherleaf.

It was a great Easter season for us, and we hope that this year, it was a great Easter holiday for you and your family. Springtime isn’t over yet, though, check back next week for ever more great designs, perfect for spring and beyond. 🐰
