As we’ve mentioned before, over two million weddings are set to take place throughout 2022, as traditions resume as the effects of the pandemic wain and more couples get set to tie the knot.
All those weddings call for special floral designs for each couple’s special day, and as always, each couple’s florals are as unique as they are.
For their weddings, some choose to go full out with their flowers – with an arch and/or backdrop, plus chair hangers or pew markers for their ceremony – plus individual centerpieces and even a few other decorative pieces at the reception, plus the traditional bouquets and boutonnieres.
On the other hand, many couples forgo lavish floral designs, and opt for just a few designs, such as the bride’s and bridesmaids’ bouquets and a few small centerpieces, perhaps because their venue is beautiful all on its own, they are on a budget, or just have their own tastes.

In this week’s edition of #FridayFunday, let’s take some time to admire some beautiful centerpieces, and how they too can be large or small, and gorgeous in their own ways, for a variety of themes and seasons! 💒

Yes, we know that spring officially begins in just over a week, but we can’t let winter end for the year without taking the time to showcase these beautiful designs.
Winter weddings don’t have to be themed around Christmas! Check this one out.
Arranged by designer Domenica Giallombardo of Branch and Blossom Botanicals here in Florida, we love how these winter greenery-focused designs came out from a winter-themed wedding back in February.
Wreaths aren’t only for Christmas, and when constructed to bring out the natural beauty of the greenery vs. being festive, they made great centerpieces for this reception, with white winter blooms were added and they were skillfully placed around matching lanterns and candles, making for very unique (and easy!) centerpieces.

Ready for spring? No problem, there’s plenty of spring-inspired centerpiece designs out there, such as this fun and festive example.
Volume, texture, bright colors and a vibrant assortment of greenery? This centerpiece, designed by Tiger Lily Florist of South Carolina has it all, just in time for spring.
The dark and light Gladiolus, paired with additional pink, white and blush blooms, including Roses and a Hydrangea, atop an assortment of fresh greenery – including plenty of Plumosus, Israeli Ruscus, Italian Ruscus and Sword Fern – brings in the spirit of spring for a special day.
Looking for something a bit more rustic? This set may be a little non-traditional in terms of being “centerpieces,” but these designs have you covered.
Brought to us by Town and Country Floral of Texas, as the post goes, who doesn’t love a good whiskey barrel arrangement, especially when they look this good?
A variety of matching flowers, including Roses, Hydrangeas and Bells of Ireland, plus the greenery, including Leatherleaf on the bottoms and Italian Ruscus out the sides, topped off with dried Pampas Grass, perfectly compliments the rustic theme of the ceremony.
Finally, these last designs may not have been from a wedding, but they would look amazing for one. If you’ve been tasked with designing around specific colors rather than a theme for one of your upcoming weddings, check them out for some inspiration.
Designed by Wasserman’s Flowers and Gifts of Michigan, these centerpieces emphasize the color scheme of various shades of pink, purple, blue and green for a recent charity event in both their flowers and their greenery.
Vibrant pink Mini Carnations and Gerbera Daisies, plus purple Limonium and Liatris, pair amazingly with the blue and green-hued greenery, including Aspidistra leaves, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus and Italian Ruscus, for a beautiful look.
It could easily be replicated with a variety of other color palettes and schemes for the special day of a couple with their colors in mind.
