Friday Funday – Spring Has Sprung: An Encore

As the sun begins to stay up longer, and the rain begins to fall a little faster, with all of the fresh and fun celebrations that are coming up, it’s definitely SPRING!

Spring is the time of rebirth and rejuvenation, especially with celebrations such as Easter and Earth day approaching. Plus, it also brings another big holiday for flowers, too — Mother’s Day!

No matter if you’re looking for one of the holidays, or just for everyday, there’s plenty of bright blooms (and fresh greens, too, of course) to go around to brighten up a room, a celebration, a special occasion, or just because.

Like we mentioned last week, the freshest time of the year is officially here, and it brings plenty of reasons to celebrate, filled with plenty of flowers, and greenery.

Join us again this week as we take a look at four more beautiful designs — plus an assortment of many different types of greens — that are perfect to capture the spirit of spring — the winter blues will be no more after you see these! ☀

Sometimes the forecast doesn’t agree (sorry to those folks out there that we have seen dealing with snow within the last few days) but that doesn’t mean the flowers don’t.

This beautiful vase, full of vibrant spring blooms and greens is the perfect example, as a touch of spring brought to us by Town and Country Floral in Texas.

Fresh Lilies, Calla Lilies, Roses, Tulips, Pastel Stock and a few other soft blooms bring a beautiful spring mix of blooms, and paired with fresh Sword Fern, it’s perfectly fun for spring!

Prefer something a little louder to celebrate with? As we “fly” into spring, don’t miss this one with quite the size, texture and shape.

Designed by Autumn of Alex Waldbart Florist of Missouri, this beautiful art form design combines the contrasting colors Bird of Paradises, Protea and Mini Roses with fresh, vibrant greenery, including shaped grasses, Italian Ruscus and Aralia leaf underneath.

If you’re looking to try something different, spring could be the perfect time.

Still can’t decide? No problem, here’s a few more designs that would be perfect in a variety of places that they could be admired this spring!

Check out these three cute sets of designs, shared with us by Bloom Field Floral and Garden, a garden and florist center in Canada. If you’re looking for fresh inspiration this spring, don’t miss out on these three designs. Slide through the post above to see them all.

The first consists of springtime Daisies, Tulips, Carnations, Baby’s Breath and Limonium, finished off with some Leatherleaf; the second is made up of Alstroemeria, Carnations and Baby’s Breath, and the third is made up of white and deep colored Daisies, artful Carnations, a yellow Tulip and some fresh Israeli Ruscus.

Last but not least, these blooms come with some great advice for the springtime, with another perfect mix of flowers and greens to celebrate.

There’s always something special about a wrapped bouquet, proving that the flowers and greens are what makes the design! This burlap wrapped bouquet, designed by the folks at Palmer Flowers, a floral shop in Colorado, brings a ray of sunshine no matter where it goes.

Don’t miss the pretty Lilies and that stunning Sunflower, surrounded by a variety of other blooms and an assortment of greenery, too, including fresh Salal leaves, shaped Beargrass and rolled Variegated Aspidistra leaves.

Hopefully it inspires you to reach for the sky.

It’s going to be a great spring! Happy Palm Sunday to all who are celebrating, and we hope that everyone’s spring season is a great one, full of freshness and fun. Come back each week for more fresh blooms and greens, at springtime and beyond. 🌼
