Whew, we made it.
Between Valentine’s Day, Easter, the start of wedding and event season, and not to forget Mother’s Day of course, it’s definitely been a busy season for the floral industry this spring.
As we mentioned last week, according to a national survey, flowers were projected to be the second most popular Mother’s Day gift this year, only behind greeting cards, with spending estimated to be nearly $3 million USD.
After Christmas, spring is always our second busiest time of the year, and 2022 brought us record-breaking numbers here at Albin’s. With all of the floral-centric holidays over the last few months, that makes us especially excited, as that means that demand for beautiful designs – including the ones showcased below, and many more – is higher than ever.
We love this time of year, both for our entire industry, and all of our products, as with higher demand than ever, comes more beauty than ever, with each design of all shapes and sizes artfully hand-arranged by florists and designers across the U.S.
Countless children of all ages entrust their local florists to design something special for their mom or mother figure, and there’s no shortage of love poured into them by the sender or the gifter, and by the designers, too, for moms each year.
While unfortunately (or fortunately, maybe, for all of the florists out there) we have reached the end of the spring holiday season, it’s never too late to admire some of the beautiful designs we saw this year! Take a look at a few of our favorites from Mother’s Day this year below. 💐
Not sure which flowers are mom’s favorite? No problem! With the variety of blooms and colors found here, if something cheery and bright would do, these folks had you covered this year.
Artfully designed by Titus Creek Flower Farm in Missouri, any mom would love these garden-inspired pieces in mini watering cans, filled with fresh flower favorites, including Lilies and Roses, and our favorite Leatherleaf, plus some exotic touches, like that Delphinium, and even a touch of Foxtail, too!

Mom not into bright colors? Not a problem, there’s plenty of flowers (and greenery) that could be just what you’re looking for, like in this design!
Soft and warm like a mother’s love, this gorgeous bouquet, available from Piney Rose Flowers in Texas, would be a great way to show mom how much she is loved.
Cream-hued flowers, with soft Roses and Tulips front and center, surrounded by the natural greenery of their leaves, plus popular greens like Baby Blue Eucalyptus and Israeli Ruscus, make this design stand out.

On the other hand, is mom into bright colors? Being from the Sunshine State, we’re partial to them ourselves, and this design, FILLED with bright colors, perfectly fit for Mother’s Day!
Designed and shared with us by Blucid Floral of Louisiana, this vase is filled to the brim with bright, beautiful blooms. Check out those Sunflowers, with plenty of other bright blooms paired with them, finished off with touches of Israeli Ruscus spread throughout.

What’s better than flowers alone as a gift for Mother’s Day? Flowers with a touch of joy, that is! Perfect to spread love and thankfulness on mom’s special day.
The Nashville Flower Market in Tennessee, known for their beautiful, and budget-friendly “joy jars,” small arrangements in a jar or similar container, filled with fresh flowers and greens, came through once again this Mother’s Day!
Flower lovers could spread some joy for Mother’s Day this year with a variety of designs, and pictured here is just one example, including some lovely Chrysanthemums, Roses and other complimentary blooms, finished off with greenery such as Leatherleaf and Israeli Ruscus.
